"What are memories made of?" The film, realised during an art residency at Art Co-Op center in Guangzhou, collects personal memories all around China (Wuxi, Suzhou, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-la, Guangzhou). Following the freudian idea of memories as traces, the film aims to displace the possibility to find "the homeland" not in the territory but in our stories, in the memories that we share. In our stories we create "temporary communities" which relive every times recalled by one of the participants. The storytelling itself is conceived in its "fluid form"which is continuously rearranged depending on situations, mood or receiver.- I-will-web
